World of Wheels (WoW)

Last weekend, a number of friends and I went for roller skating. It was my first time going to that place. I had learnt roller skating 8 or 9 years ago. It then became unpopular and i had totally forgotten about it until my friend asked if i wanted to go skating. So yea, that is the reason that i had no idea there is a skating centre in town. When i finally tried it once again, i am glad that i haven't yet forget the skills which i had learnt back then. I think the same goes for cycling and swimming. Although you have not been doing it for years, you will be surprise that you automatically know how to cycle or swim because you already possessed those skills.

 The cool lighting makes it looks a place for ice-skating although I have never been to any ice-skating centre. I wonder when there will be an ice-skating centre in the city. I would love to give it a try =)

The crowd slowly increased. Most of them are youngsters and they are very very good at skating *thumbs up* Even the little kids can skate like a pro. They can skate very fast and yet very steady. So they were able avoid bumping and knocking into us even if we got into their ways.

However, I landed hard on the floor twice because i lost my balance *ouch* and i knew that i would get the ugly bruises on my legs and hips. Well, that is okay. We fall, we get up, fall and get up until we fall no more =D 

Congrats to my friends who finally learned how to skate. No pain, no gain (´Д`)。

I am certain that we will visit this place again =)

Fragility

Life can be as fragile as a butterfly's wings.

Today, he/she might be talking to us but the next day he/she might be gone forever. So appreciate the people around us, whether they are parents, relatives, love ones, close friends, ordinary friends and anyone whom you can think of.

☆ Graduation Trip Event ☆

After this event was launched, i have a sudden urge to travel to other countries, oh no! I'm not certain if i have the opportunity to travel this year since I have been planning to take intersession (a two months short semester) during this coming semester break. Oww..can i have both intersession and travelling? No? #Okaymemeface

My lucky poupee gets to travel to two countries, off for the flight.

After that she visited United Kingdom. 

Haha..i like this outfits =D I have only seen this grenadier guard outfits worn by men in the photos.

I hope that I can visit Europe someday and I would like to visit France because it's a romantic place =3 I like Greece too, the interesting looking white building, the blue ocean, the ancient greek architecture and etc.. 

( ´ ▽ ` ) And there are many many more wonderful countries in Europe which i have been dreaming of going to.

Okay, time for bed and that means that it's another beginning of the journey to my dreamland =)

Happily Together

As promised, i have drawn a picture of Domenique and i have added in Skip as well ~ They are in chibi version. Anyway, it is a sunny afternoon and they play "catch". They enjoy and treasure the moment of being with each other ^^

Domenique, i doubt if the girl looks like you because i'm not very sure exactly how your hairstyle looks like. But still, I hope you will like it =) 

Fresh Look

I have changed my blog layout for like one, two and three times. I'm not so happy with the previous one although it looked okay. Well, just because it appeared to be okay, so i changed it. The new layout looks a lot better, don't you agree =) ? I want my readers to feel comfortable while reading my posts. I have changed the blog title as well. Sorry for the sudden and frequent changes >.< I might make some more changes to my blog in the future. I need improvements for it, that's the point ~

Hooray, it's finally weekend again and I'm lovin' it.

Using a Tablet is Addictive !

My cousin's friend lent her his bamboo tablet for digital drawing and thus, i went to her house to try the tablet. I've been dreaming of trying it because i only know how to use a mouse or touch pad on my laptop to draw digital art.

This is how the tablet looks like with a stylus/pen which can be controlled like a mouse. When using it to draw, it's just like using an ordinary pencil. So tablet basically turns computer into virtual canvas =) By the way, i'm a right-handed person so i have to grip onto the pen using my left hand in order that i can hold my camera to snap a photo using my right hand.

Graphic tablet is usually for professional art/graphic users. As a hobbyist, i wonder if i should buy one in the future. It's half of the price of an iPad and the price varies in size of the tablet. It's costly T^T

Wandering Around

Today, the one and only 9-11a.m class was postponed so i ended up in a bookstore. It's a 35 minutes drive from the campus or 15-20 minutes drive from my house to that shopping mall. So it takes approximately 20-25 minutes from my house to the campus depending on the traffic condition. Okay, it's confusing.

Since there are very few big bookstores in the city, i always visit the same one without getting tired of it ^^ It's funny that i still like to go to bookstores although i usually will walk out empty-handed.

Christopher Pike, my favourite author. Love his stories although most of the endings are depressing and not like what i want it to be. Wanted the other series but they have no stock.

It's a sunny day so i decided to talk a walk.

Went to a park beside my secondary school. I used to go there very often after class. The good old times.

It reminds me of the 1up mushroom in the Mario game =D Mario, you'll be happy to see this because it provides you with a life.

A Short Update

I was doing my assignments and ended up here ^^"

This is because I decided that every day before i go to sleep, I have to..no, I MUST look at beautiful paintings and photos from various blogs. I want to fill my heart and mind with beautiful things which cheer me up a lot ♥ They inspires me and they increase the chances of providing me with sweet dreams (just my random assumptions which haven't been proven yet). 

I shall stop here. Tomorrow will be a very busy day like any other day. But still, F.I.G.H.T.I.N.G !!

Digitally

This is an adorable dog of my cousin's named Yang Yang =D i borrowed this photo from her so that i can draw a digital portrait of him.

This is how i started. Firstly, use a brush to roughly paint the figure. I was using pastel brush if not mistaken because it can certainly give him a fluffy look ^^"

 Different shades of brown were used in the painting to bring out its features.

 After that, i drew its nose. I made it bigger than it actually is =D

More shadows was added under the nose, chin and etc..

Eyes and blushes on his cheek were painted.

Next, Highlights of the fur was added.

Followed by little details of the fur so that he doesn't look dull.

 Last but not least, the leash and the background were painted.

The portrait of Yang Yang was finally completed !

Hmmm..it looks quite different from the original photo >< But close enough ^^"

Uh huh, very true. I do not like to wear mask(s) but sometimes i have to do so under some circumstances.

Judging people is definitely a no no.
