No More 2011

Today is the last day of 2011. It's also the day which one goes out, gather with friends and love ones, countdown, watching the firework and partying all night. I have not been doing much revision these days (not being able to concentrate) so going out might be a very bad idea. I wonder how am i going to sit for the exams next week. Having exams for a new start is so uncool. I really have to ground myself for the next few weeks i guess >,<

Many things had happened in 2011, both good and bad. The good ones have turned out to be a family of my sweet memory while the bad ones are buried deep in my heart. Forget about the bad stuffs since the past is the past. So, look forward and not backward. Things will change for the better i hope.

I do have some wishes for this new year. 

1) I wish that everyone will stay healthy and happy.

2) I wish that i will not make my parents down（ つ﹏╰）

3) I wish that i can be strong and wise no matter what happens.

4) I wish that i can meet someone who can truly understand and accept me for who i am (but it's okay if i don't meet someone like that).

A Simple Movie Review of the Month: Puss in Boots

Again, I only watched 1 movie this month p(´⌒｀q) But this time, Puss in Boots did not disappoint me although it was only 1 and a half hours. To summarize, it was short and sweet ♥

The handsome fellow and the cool lady =)

The story is about friendship, love, responsibility and adventure ! Love the story line. It's funny and cute

 ( ´ ▽ ` )~♥ It kept me entertained from the beginning till the end. I might watch it online for the second time ~

I'll give it a rating of 8/10 ☆

I guess i should choose to watch animations more often. They're usually nice and worth watching (awww..am I considered as childish?)

A Surprise Box

It's the third day of study week and I haven't touch any of my books. Aww..there are too much distractions ╮(╯_╰)╭ Me being here quite frequently is an evidence. I can't seem to leave my laptop alone =<

Thinking that i'm here to show you the Christmas present? Well, you're wrong. I'm here to show you this wonderful album kit which i'd mentioned earlier ^^ Honestly, i didn't receive any Christmas presents. Being able to gather with my family is already a gift to me since we can hardly gather together. My dad travels a lot so he'll be at home only once every two months.

The theme of the album kit is "Blossom" so you'll expect it to be flowerish and girlish (●´ω｀●)

I'm planning to make this as a gift for my mom or dad during mother's day/father's day. There're still months away so i'll take my sweet time making an album. I'll have to print out photos of us and stick them onto those paper. 

I'm planning to buy another box with different theme, i feel so greedy =<

I gotta promise myself that i have to start doing my revision tomorrow if i don't wanna let myself down *sigh*

The colour pencils which i'd been owning for years only have limited colours so i've been dreaming of buying a new box.

Went to MPH bookstore to survey the price. 48 colours is what i've been aiming for. But it's expensive =< No no no, i ain't asking this from Mr Santa. I'm not a good girl and i don't deserve gifts from Santa.

 But if I were given a chance to wish for a gift, i would want something ridiculous: A time machine. That's impossible, i know right. My tiny socks might be ruined because of the big size. I mean look at Doremon's time machine, it's as big as a drawer. Nah, that's not the point. The point is that time machine doesn't even exist. So keep dreaming away, zombie. Why do i need a time machine ? It's for something good, no worries.

Anyway, hope you received some wonderful presents. Happy holiday ~~

Oh well, Never Mind ~

I thought i have only one more presentation left before the study week (and also the Christmas holiday) but there were one assignment given yesterday and today so altogether there are two of them. Is that an early Christmas present, fellow lecturers? We're more like being trolled O.Olll I'll try to complete them by tomorrow.

Anyway, buddies will be busy with this and that on Christmas eve and Christmas day. I guess that means there will be no outings for me ╮(╯_╰)╭. Should i go to the cinema and watch a movie alone or should i watch the outdated movies at home? Perhaps i'll just stay at home and do some revisions (okay, i sounded like a big fat liar).

Ahahah..that describes how lazy i am for most of the time ~~

I feel that shopping alone is not a bad experience. Firstly, i can take my sweet time admiring and choosing the things which i like. I mean, i'll feel bad sometimes if i stay too long in a shop looking at the things which my friends are not very interested in. Secondly, i can pay more attention to the surroundings. If i'm with my buddies, we'll chat from one end of the mall to the other end. We'll lose track of time and tends to forget where our next station is. Yea, the amount of saliva used up is more than the water we drink.

How did i spend my time in the mall yesterday? Well, I'd been shopping in MPH bookstore ♥ Bought a handmade kit for the making of a photo album .^^. It's quite expensive but i'm happy to own it. Fell in love with it at the first sight. I'm afraid that it'll be out of stock so finally decided to buy it in case i regretted. After i snap a photo of it, i'll post it ~ 

Oh yes, i know how i will spend my Christmas. I'll make a photo frame for Nic-chan, whose birthday is on the 13th of jan =) *rub my chin*

Xmas is Just Around the Corner

One more week to go and it's Christmas! My home is filled with Christmas songs, thanks to mama. I can't stop humming "Frostie the snowman lalala" when i'm doing my work.

Usually the ppg's festive event will be launched one week earlier. So here it is, the holiday event. Well ummm..i have to be honest that this event's items and outfits are just so-so, a lot different from what i've been expecting =x i'd learnt a lesson that is the more i expect, the more disappointed i'll be. So, never expect too much in your life.

Another background: The street. Wearing the flower bracelet with unlock this. It's hidden under the sleeves so it can't be seen in the picture =P The Santa's top (excluding the hat) is also from this event. There are Santa's trousers and boots but i'll skip them. I should save some ribbons for the coming new year or ppg's anniversary events ^^

The shooting star hairpiece from the socks. The other two items from the socks are the shooting star necklace and bracelet. They are really nice.

Actually, i hope that this Christmas will be something special which is not just about sending Christmas cards to my friends and listening to the songs at home. How do i make into a special one ? I have no idea > <

A Mini Bazaar

This was supposed to be posted yesterday but i was too exhausted. You'll know the reason later.

There is this huge project (I think it's a huge one) which is mini bazaar for the course on how to become an entrepreneur. This is a compulsory course although we are science students. We have to open a stall and sell things or provide services. My group members and I chose to sell food.

We called our stall "homemade". This is the poster for promoting our products.

We were selling sushi, white fungus red date tea and herbal tea egg.

This is how the sushi looked like. We had to open the stall at 8 am sharp. I went to my friend's hostel to help out with the packing of these sushi's at 4am. So, i woke up at 2.45am and i only slept for 2++ hours > < We made 98 boxes (we plan to make 100 boxes but there were insufficient rice) and luckily they were all being sold out at 2pm.

The herbal tea egg which was cooked by my friend. These eggs are the earliest being sold out. I didn't have a try but they said the taste is not strong enough.

The white fungus red date tea which was prepared by my mom and I. Special thanks to my mom, I'm impressed. There are around 60 cups and they were sold out before noon.

We earned some money, not much. I'll use those money pay my mom's lunch or dinner.

Everyone who were involved in this mini bazaar, thanks for all the hard work ~ 

Strangers Again

I never expected too much from you. I was happy even if you only treated me as an ordinary friend. That was what i used to think. I don't know when, you began to become my burden, a really huge one. Until my daily routines were being affected. It was not your fault. However, i feel like blaming you for everything. There are reasons for that which are somehow difficult to be explained in words.

Sometimes i'll think that, it's better if we never have met or we do know know each other. But come to think of it, this have taught me a lesson on how to be wiser when it comes to facing something like this. 

I knew that one day i have to break free from this burden. And i'm glad that i did, after falling for so many times. I don't care what you think and i won't regret for what i did. Yes, i'm alright now. 

If we happen to meet one day, i'll glance at you like you are just a random passerby. Or probably i won't notice you at all because, we are nothing but strangers.

Free Me !

After grounding myself for several weeks, i'm finally like a bird breaking free from its cage ~

I don't mind staying at home actually but recently i feel like staying at home means doing assignments and nothing else. Thus, I need to take a breathe of fresh air and enjoy the outing with my friend.

I went to watch Puss in Boots like what i have been wishing for ♥ Will post the review at the end of this month.

The front view of the stage with a giant Christmas ornament ball. I remember that the Christmas decoration last year was very colourful and the year before last year was full of silver and blue. Too bad i did not take any photos that time.

This mini stage is spinning like a merry-go-round, very slow in speed though. At least that won't make my head spin round and round.

After the movie, my close friend (Let's called her Nic-chan) and I were hungry so we "tapao" Cheese cakes to the food court.

Fly Me to the Moon

News about the eclipse of the moon is spamming on my FB wall. I went out around 7pm and look at the sky, it was covered with pinkish clouds. A very unfavorable weather to watch the moon eclipse it seems.

Guess what is this ? It's the photo of a full moon which i had snapped weeks or months ago, i can't remember. An epic failure, that was. I have no idea why there was a blue reflection and it wouldn't disappear for good. I guess using my camera to snap a proper photo of the moon is a mission impossible.

Happy eclipse watching, peeps. I'll give it a pass.

A Mini Drawing Exhibition

Finally, the exhibition of the clubs. We were there to standby and to decorate our booth early in the morning.

I did not take any pictures of the booth of the other clubs (tennis club, bowling club, photography club, St. John and etc..) because there were crowds everywhere. It's like a bustling Sunday market *dizzy*

The drawings produced by the members of drawing club were pasted onto the panel. One of my drawing was there too ^^ There were three panels altogether that were fully occupied by the members' work of sweat and tears (Tears? Maybe not).

I like the feel of this skull drawing. 

Apart from exhibiting the members' drawings, there were a few members from the faculty of art who were doing a demonstration on how to draw a portrait. It's for free x)

I was standing aside, watching them drew and trying to learn some drawing techniques from them.

I was exhausted when i reached home. I wanna go to sleep early despite that i need to prepare the script for the presentation tomorrow =<

Litterbugs SUCK.

There are lots are people in this country who possessed "wonderful" habits and one of them is littering.

I was driving and a lorry was a few distance in front of me. Suddenly, surprise ~ There were pieces of mandarin orange skins flying out of their window. I was like @#$%&#!!!! I'd encountered such things uncountable times. Some threw the cigarette buds, plastic bags or even the spitting of mucus and saliva out of the car window =.=+ WTF..is it that difficult to keep those garbage with you until you find a suitable home (rubbish bin) for it ? Are you so eager to live in an environment which is full of garbage, flies and cockroaches ? Or is it that you don't mind your future generations to be buried in the garbage at all ?

If only there's a rule like this (just my imagination): if one's littering in the public and get caught, the punishment for him/her is everyone throw a piece of rubbish into his/her house. Hmph..and i'm sure he/she certainly will be haunted by garbage for the rest of his/her life.

You, you know who you are: the irresponsible-selfish-lazy litterbugs. Better be ashamed of your act and change it. I will look down on you if you don't.

The 1st ppg event on December is tadaa ~ the Sweets Fantasy Event x) This is a paradise for candy lovers.

Anyway, this event reminds me of the story of Hansel and Gretel.

Listening to the rain ~

Hello December.

It's raining almost everyday, and that slows down my rate of production (production of assignments and reports of course). I feel like lying in my bed with my eyes closed, and listening to the rain falls.

I  heard people said that xmas songs can be heard here and there. Since i'm either at home or at the campus, i can't really feel the xmas atmosphere. But hey, there're actually 2-3 rolls of xmas trees planted in a specific area of the campus so it's like xmas for 365 days.

Time flies, soon it'll be the end of 2011. I should take a walk outside once i'm not that busy anymore. It's been months since i had slowed down my walking pace and have a look at the scenery as well as what has been happening around. I might realize that they're several changes which i have never noticed before.
