December was all about Christmas!

The Christmas tree ornaments made by my mom last year, she's a genius! There's a small Christmas tree at home, it's to lighten up the house with some Christmas spirit.

Wonderful gifts given by my cousins. It was a surprise because I didn't expect to receive gifts from them since we don't celebrate Christmas. That was really sweet of them. 

The Christmas present given by my mom. She didn't wrap it and place it beside my bed when I was asleep. When I followed her to the supermarket, while pointing at this packet of M&M's she asked me, "I buy this for you as a Christmas present, okay?". I said, "Sure." and she placed the chocolate happily into her shopping basket. That's my cute mom ^___^

This is a gift I bought for the present exchange during the gathering with my High school buddies. Penguin got it and I doubt if she likes it because girlish or ladylike items ain't her cup of tea.

This is what I got from the present exchange, a pretty necklace from Pinky. Merci beaucoup =)

Today is the last day of 2012. Have you made any new year resolutions? Well, mine are:
#1 Complain less
#2 Be more grateful
#3 Live happily
#4 Live a healthy lifestyle

Although they sound simple, they might not be easy to achieve. I must achieve at least any of the two out of four.

Anyway, may 2013 be filled with joy, love, faith, health and wealth for you and your family. Happy New Year!!!

Amazing Artist of the Month

Amazing artist of the month: Rihards Donskis a.k.a Apofiss 

As far as I know, he is very good at producing digital art with the help of Wacom tablet, Photoshop and paint tool SAI. His drawings mostly comprise of animals and bubbles. Although his artworks are simple, you never get tired of looking at them. Love the cute animals in it and the dreamy effect! And oh, he also draws comic with a chubby fairy cat as the main character named Boggart. For more of his artwork, please visit his deviantart web page =)

☆ Holiday Event ☆

Hello, I'm here to announced that I'm still alive! Just kidding.

I'm already in a Christmas mood and aren't able to concentrate in doing my revision for the final exam on January. So here are some pictures of the Holiday event in Poupeegirl. 

Wow..the second type of background looks really complicated but interesting and creative ❤ I have to say that this time, the Christmas outfits, accessories and items are so much nicer than that of last year's. Do you feel the same way too?

There'll be a simple gathering with my close friends and another one with my parents soon. I'm looking forward to both of them =)

Lovely Little Things

21st of December is known as the so-called "end of the world" day and it's coming very soon. I won't say whether I believe the rumors or not but I definitely still want to fight and live on. Blue skies, white clouds, animals, plants, ocean and the list goes on. Aren't they wonderful? Aren't you glad that you're still able to see all those lovely things in this world?

If that day is just another usual day, please love and protect the earth a little more. For that can already make a great difference.

P. C. Day 30

P. C. day 30: something old

FINALLY, this is the last photo challenge and I'd officially completed all of the challenges! *lighting a firework with sound effects* I can't believe that I'd spent almost four months to accomplish this when the challenges were meant to be completed for a month or so *face palmed* If I were to work in a company and these were my tasks, I would be fired for being such a snail. Well well, it's better to be late than never, no? 

Photo challenge, till the next time. I'm going to miss you and I won't stop taking photographs. From my point of view, these are what the challenge can offer you:

#1 To be creative and think out of the box which include trying out new angles, setting, lighting, alignment of the objects, so on and so forth.

#2 To be extra patient if you want to take good photos.

#3 To be enthusiastic and keen to explore new places/ places which you've been to.

#4 To discover your own style and methods of taking photos in which you're comfortable with.

#5 To get yourself exposed to all kinds of other people's works and be inspired.

Anyway, have you already spotted the "something old"? Yep, it's the book, not me =D

Just a random old and worn out book I found in the bookshelf. I think it belongs to my mom because I'd found photos of her as a young lady in between the pages (I should have asked her if she recognises this book). It's basically a collection of letters with different types of content written by all kinds of people for the editor. I will read it when I have to time =)

I'm going to bombard this post with lots of flower photos!!! Oh, I have to make myself clear that I'm not a flower freak but flowers are definitely a great model for us to practice our photography skills =) So I went *snap snap snap* at every flower I saw in a park like I'd never seen a flower before.

P. C. day 27: From a distance

It's already the 8th day of the new month and this is my first post for December. There're indeed many things for me to do until I have to delay all the posts. 

Yes, the outdated photos taken using my dad's company's camera~

Today, I finally had the chance to go for a walk in the shopping mall to feel the Christmas atmosphere. Looking at the Christmas ornaments and decorations as well as listening to the songs cheer me up. Looking forward to Christmas when Panda, Penguin, Pinky and me will have a small gathering =) But before that, I have to finish up around 7-8 reports and assignments within two weeks *fainted* It's usually the busiest moment during this time around. December oh December, how could you make me love you and hate you at the same time?
